Piano Boulders Trail Day - October 8th

NCCC volunteers help open the Piano Boulders climbing area to bouldering with the help of City of fort Collins Natural Areas in 2005The Northern Colorado Climbers Coalition (NCCC) and the City of Fort Collins Natural Areas have worked collaboratively for many years.  In 2005, we teamed up to officially open the Piano Boulders (technically part of the Pine Ridge Natural Area) to bouldering by having the first trail day for the area.  We developed a sustainable system of access trails and helped reduce climber impacts.  Since then, we've had a number of other stewardship events which have been equally successful in ensuring climber access to the Piano Boulders climbing area.

For this year's upcoming trail day on Saturday, October 8th, we're looking for 10 volunteers to help prevent erosion and maintain the existing trail system.  Registration is quick and painless with our short online volunteer form.  Be sure to sign up to help out on this great project!
